Professional development for nonpublic schools
Practical, secular, and neutral training in behavior management, quality instruction, and educational leadership, with a clear written scope for your approvals.
Three areas, six ways to start.
Independent and nonpublic schools usually come to us with one of three needs. Each maps to a service you can book on its own or combine into a year-long plan.
- Behavior management. Routines, expectations, de-escalation, and self-regulation: see Classroom Management and Instruction.
- Quality instruction. Explicit teaching, scaffolding, and English learner supports: see Science of Learning and English Learner Services.
- Educational leadership. Coaching capacity, administrator counsel, and accreditation: see Master Teacher Program, Administrative Counsel, and Accreditation Guidance.
- 1Intro callFifteen minutes on your goals, your staff, and your calendar.
- 2Written scopeA session outline, dates, and fees you can attach to your own approvals.
- 3DeliveryOn-site or live online, hands-on, with practice built into every session.
- 4Follow-upOptional observation and coaching so the new habits last.
Built to fit federal-program requirements.
Many nonpublic schools pay for professional development through federal programs such as Title II-A. In New York City, those requests are reviewed by the DOE Office of Nonpublic and Charter Schools, and services must be secular, neutral, and non-ideological.
All Real Deal Teaching content is designed to meet that standard. We provide a clear written description of each session so your school can complete its own paperwork. Whether a given request is approved is decided by the funder, and we cannot guarantee it.

Professional Development for School Leaders and Teachers. Abraham Education has been recommended for award under this MTAC by the DOE Division of Contracts and Purchasing. The award is subject to approval by the Panel for Educational Policy, which is tentatively scheduled for January 2027. We will update this page when approval is final.

Before you book.
Is the content secular and non-ideological?
Yes. Every Real Deal Teaching session focuses on instruction, classroom management, school systems, and leadership. We work with many kinds of schools, including faith-based independent schools, and for any engagement paid with federal funds the content stays secular, neutral, and non-ideological.
How long are sessions, and where are they held?
Most engagements are a half day or a full day for a whole staff, with multi-session series available across the year. We deliver in person or live online. Travel is quoted up front.
What do we need to provide?
A room or a video link, a projector or screen, and the time on your calendar. We handle the materials and tailor examples to your grade levels.
Do you provide a written proposal?
Yes. After the intro call we send a proposal with objectives, a session-by-session outline, dates, and fees, written so you can attach it to your approvals.
Can you follow up after the workshop?
Yes. Many schools add classroom observation, written feedback, and one-on-one coaching for teachers and administrators.
How do you handle student information?
We use no artificial intelligence tools in training delivery, and any student information discussed in coaching is limited to aggregate, de-identified data.
Ready to plan a session for your school?
