Master Teacher Program

Grow instructional leaders from within your own building.

Overview

Your best teachers, prepared to lead other teachers.

Most schools have teachers others already turn to for advice. The Master Teacher Program makes that informal influence deliberate. Participants deepen their own practice, learn how to observe and coach colleagues, and build the skills of conflict resolution that every school needs.

The program follows a train-the-trainer arc: learn the skill, practice it, then teach and coach it to others.

What we cover

Program strands.

Master teaching

Advanced instruction, classroom culture, and consistent routines that colleagues can see and learn from.

Observation and feedback

How to watch a lesson with a clear focus, capture evidence, and deliver feedback that people welcome and use.

Coaching conversations

Questioning, listening, and goal-setting that help colleagues grow without feeling judged.

Conflict resolution across the building

Skills for working through conflict between students and teachers, colleagues, teachers and administrators, staff members, and parents and the school.

Turning around the most challenging students

Case-based practice with the students who are hardest to reach, using concrete strategies and honest discussion.

Training others

Plan and lead short staff sessions so that new skills spread beyond the participants.

What schools can expect. A bench of confident teacher-leaders, more consistent feedback to teachers, fewer unresolved conflicts, and a school that depends less on one or two people for its instructional leadership. Results depend on implementation and follow-through, so outcomes are expected, not guaranteed.
